In the sacred silence of farewell, Aphrodite is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Aphrodite's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home (2000 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at the Forest Hills Cemetery (95 Forest Hills Ave, Boston, MA 02130). A troubling secondary loss of loved ones began with isolation due to pandemic restrictions which carved an invisible barrier between life as we knew it and the seclusion of the pandemic.
