He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys M. Bolden (Thompson) and Eugene H. Bolden; his wife Sylvia G. Bolden (Josey); his grandson Brandon S. Galloway-Bolden; and his brothers, William J. Bolden and Eugene R. Bolden Sr. Edward.
He is survived by: his children, Edward S. Harris (Bolden), Teresa A. Shepherd-Bolden and Anita E. Bolden; his grandchildren, Nylah A. Bolden, Keyon S. Hurd, Adrienne D. Harris (Bolden), Olivia M. Harris (Bolden) and Evan E. Harris (Bolden); and his sisters, Velmer M. Brooks, Jessie M. Bolden and Loretta B. Hewitt (Kenneth). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
