He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Jackson and Elizabeth Jackson (Ford); his siblings, Walter Jackson, Winston Jackson, Frederick Jackson and Leola Kennedy (Jackson); his children, Henryce Jackson-Gumes (Diane) and Elliott Wendell Jackson, Jr.; his grandchild Kenan Smith; and also Doris Jackson (Gomez).

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kearston Smith and Kiel Smith; his great grandchildren, Maxx and Myles Smith; his son-in-law Kenneth Gumes (Cynthia Pina); and also Henryce Jackson (Houston). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
