He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Leavitt (Morris); and his parents, Marshall Leavitt and Rosella Leavitt (Anderson). He is survived by: his children, W. Steven Leavitt (Catherine Beale) of Alexandria, VA, Judith Shannon (James) of Wilbraham, MA, Dana Leavitt (Rosanne) of North Attleboro and Caroline DeCota (Louis) of North Attleboro, MA.; his grandchildren, Matthew (Julie), Daniel Shannon (Rachel), Rebecca, Sarah Leavitt, Michael (Kelly), William and Daria DeCota; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Matthew Shannon, Curran and Bohdan DeCota; and his brothers, Paul and John.
