Though Gordon Brenton may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gordon Brenton touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Hazard and Ernest Hazard of Natick, MA; and his sister-in-law Beverly of Hillsboro, NH.. He is survived by: his daughters, Gypsy Johnson of Oklahoma City, OK, Bobbi-Sue Doyle-Hazard of Stamford, CT and Jennifer Hazard of Harrisburg, PA; his grandchildren, Aliyeah and Jalen Jones; his son-in-law Re'Shad Johnson of Oklahoma City, OK; his brother Steve Powers; and his sister-in-law Patsy (Ernest "Ernie" Hazard) of Leesburg, FL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapman Funerals & Cremations - Yarmouth (58 Long Pond Dr, South Yarmouth, MA 02664). The military honors was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Oak Ridge Cemetery.
