She was predeceased by: her parents, Pierce Butler and Mary Butler; her husband Carl "Pete" Peterson; and her brother Jerry Butler of Greenwich. She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Smith (David) of Ansonia, Cathi Peterson (Sandy Binion) of West Brookfield and Caryn Jack (Andrew); her grandchildren, Ailín and Annika of West Brookfield; and her sisters, Patricia "Pat" Giuliano of Rye Brook, NY and Helen Dobson of Troutman, NC..
