He was predeceased by: his wife Martha K. Hedlund (Smith); his brother Col. Arthur R. Hedlund, Jr.; and his parents, Arthur R. Hedlund, and Eleanor V. Hedlund, Sr. (Mikoloski). He is survived by: his siblings, Kenneth M. Hedlund (Kathleen) of East Longmeadow and Elizabeth A. Poirier (Real) of Fiskdale; and his sister-in-law Soni Christensen of New Castle, NH. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
