She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Gallagher and Annie Gallagher (McCusker). She is survived by: her children, William J. Kurkul, Jr. (Nora) of Andover, Patricia Kurkul (Kathi Rodrigues) of Newburyport and Robert Kurkul (Kelly) of Bridgewater; her grandchildren, Matthew Kurkul (Seimi), Ryan Kurkul (Elena Pinceti), Andrea Kurkul, Kevin Kurkul (Brenda Chew) and Emily Kurkul (Cameron Kurkul); and her great grandchildren, Aidan and Brian Kurkul. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
