He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose B. Silva and Cora Z. Silva (Zulmira); and his brother Mario J. Silva. He is survived by: his wife Cidalia M. Silva (Mendonca); his children, Renato M. Silva of Billerica and Joia C. Mercurio (Daniel) of West Boylston; his siblings, Edgar J. Silva of Providence, Heder F. Silva of New Bedford and Cora Maria Madruga of Faial, Azores; and his grandchildren, Dario P., Nico J. and Mariana G. Mercurio. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Miles-Sterling Funeral Home and Tribute Center (100 Worcester Rd, Sterling, MA 01564). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Good Counsel Church (111 Worcester St, West Boylston, MA 01583).
