He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose B. Silva and Cora Z. Silva (Zulmira); and his brother Mario J. Silva. He is survived by: his wife Cidalia M. Silva (Mendonca); his children, Renato M. Silva of Billerica and Joia C. Mercurio (Daniel) of West Boylston; his siblings, Edgar J. Silva of Providence, Helder F. Silva of New Bedford and Cora Maria Madruga of Faial, Azores; and his grandchildren, Dario P., Nico J. and Mariana G. Mercurio. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
