He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda Scales (Waterhouse); his son Malcolm M. Scales (Melissa) of Auburn; his grandchildren, Alexander and Rebecca Scales; his brother Robert G. Scales (Susan) of Hawthorne, FL; his sister-in-law Martha Scales of Georgia; his brother Edward H. Scales; and his parents, Fred L. Scales and Elsie M. Scales (Goodale). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
