He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth M. Benson (Boulay); his daughters, Dale Dulmaine and Donna Benson; his brothers, Stanley and Gus; and his parents, Otto Benson and Hilma Benson.
He is survived by: his son Richard; his son-in-law Walter Dulmaine; his grandchildren, Christopher and Kimberly Dulmaine; and his brother Hank Benson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
