He was predeceased by: his siblings, Alice Barnard Record, Mason "Pat" Barnard and Robert Barnard; and his parents, Mason Barnard and Edith Barnard (Johnson).
He is survived by: his wife Sue C. Barnard (Kittredge); and his children, Carolyn Barnard Peterson (Michael) of Mendon, Craig Barnard (Charlene) of Chicago, Christopher Barnard (Patricia) of Worcester and Curtis Barnard (Deborah) of Worcester. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
