It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara A. Handy of West Boylston, Massachusetts, born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 30, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael A. Cozzolino and Carmella Cozzolino (Fiorillo); her husband John Handy; her daughter Karen M. Handy; and her sisters, Gloria Powers and Patricia Bianco.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher J. Handy (Maria) of Lunenburg and Heather L. Handy (Harley) of Carbondale, CO; her sisters, Concetta Rabideau of Northborough and Marie Matthews of Pittsfield; and her grandchildren, Rebecca Handy, Nathan Handy, Jessica Handy, Emily Handy, Stella Stroh and Jacob Stroh. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Anderson Funeral Home - Townsend (250 Main St, Townsend, MA 01469). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Saint Boniface Church (817 Massachusetts Ave, Lunenburg, MA 01462).
