He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy J. Canty (Carleton); his children, Maggie, Shane, Aidan Canty and Barnstable; his parents, Mary Canty (Leonard) of Somerville and Frank Canty; his siblings, Neil Canty (Kathy) of Franklin and Ellen Conte (Vigo) of Somerville; his mother-in-law Susan Carleton; his siblings-in-law, Robert T. Carleton (Dawn), Barnstable, Gina O'Donovan (Michael) of Medford and David Carleton (Robin) of Beverly; and also Robert of Cape Cod. He was also cherished by aunts and many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
