It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Michael Niemi (West Barnstable, Massachusetts), born in Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 21, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert W. Sr. Niemi and Helen J. Niemi. He is survived by: his spouse Micki Niemi (Mary Ann McKenna); his brothers, Albert W. Niemi, Jr. (Maria) of Dallas, TX, Toivo Edwin Niemi of Durham, NC and Kevin J. Niemi of Chatham, MA.; and his stepchildren, Kathleen, Carolyn, Martin and Steven Coyne. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe's memory to the German Shepherd Rescue of New England at: GSRNE, Inc., P.O. Box 299, Wayland, MA 01778.
