It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Slapak (Wenham, Massachusetts), born in Beverly, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 23, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank S. Young Sr. and Jennie Charlotte Young (Scott); her husband Robert Slapak; her son John Frank; and her brothers, Fredrick, Frank S. Jr., Robert and Carlton.

She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Slapak and Brenda Slapak-Howe; her grandsons, Robert Howe and James Howe; her brothers, Donald Young [] of Texas, Richard Young (Kathy), Beverly and Roger Young [] of Florida; and her sisters-in-law, Gertrude Young (Wenham) and Bonita Hulbert (Slapak). She is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
