It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor Ernst Thompson (Wenham, Massachusetts), born in Wellesley, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 12, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Bill Thompson (Natalie Pangaro) of Jamaica Plain, Holly Thompson (Bob Pomeroy) of Kamakura, Pam Thompson (Peter Jeffries) of Hyde Park and Emily Thompson (Chris Lathrop) of North Andover; her grandchildren, Dexter Thompson-Pomeroy, Isabel Thompson-Pomeroy, Ailsa Jeffries, Julian Lathrop and Zoë Lathrop; and her sister Dorrie Bean of Concord.
