He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemarie Ryan Kiernan; his son Donald Kiernan; and his brothers, Leonard, Russell and Arthur.
He is survived by: his daughters, Florence Kiernan (Peter Barnard) and Rosemarie Bottomley (Kevin Bottomley); his grandchildren, Amy Bottomley Cavilla (Robert Cavilla) and Taylor Bottomley (Emily Bottomley); and his great grandchildren, John Cavilla, Weston Cavilla, Townsend Bottomley and Camilla Bottomley.
