He was predeceased by: his wife Grace McGrath Allen (Brancaleone); his parents, Stanley and Gertrude; his son Gary William Allen; and his siblings, Stanley Allen, Joseph Allen and Barbara Thatcher.
He is survived by: his sister Gertrude M. Allen (Hichens); his stepchildren, Louis McGrath (Wendy B. McGrath) of Gloucester, Dennis McGrath of Waltham, Daniel McGrath (Kathy McGrath) of Gloucester and Colleen Sullivan (Henry Sullivan) of Beverly; his siblings, Robert Allen of Rochester, NH, Gilman "Buddy" Allen of Wenham, Richard Allen of Newport News, VA and Phyllis Wilkson of Holden; his grandchildren, Louis R. McGrath (Misty) and Heidi Ann Schuster (Michael); his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Schuster, Robert Schuster and Micah McGrath; and his nieces, Cheryl Morales, Christine Allen and Carrie Kreider.
