William Townsend Cox Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Townsend Cox (Wellfleet, Massachusetts), who passed away on August 16, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur W. Cox and Louise E. Cox (Townsend); his wife Hazel Cox (Atwood) of Keene; his sons, Rev. James W. Cox of Provincetown, MA, Jeffrey H. Cox (Kerry) of South Wellfleet, MA and Howard D. Cox (Jennifer) of Brewster, MA; his brother-in-law David Atwood (Mary); and also, Gertrude Cox of Worcester, MA, Margaret Cox of South Wellfleet, Nichole Cox of Boston, MA, Meghan Cox of Eastham, MA, Elizabeth Shephard of Eastham and Samantha Stewart (Chris) of Wellfleet. He was also cherished by eight great-grandchildren.
