In the sacred silence of farewell, Wendy Alison is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Wendy Alison's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Mike Piispanen of Wellesley; her children, Matthew Piispanen of Boston and Nicole Maher of Boston; her mother Roberta Horn of Saco, ME; her siblings, Jeffrey Horn of San Francisco, CA, Michael Horn of Jakarta and Rachel Sabatine; and her father Bernard Horn of California.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home (477 Washington St, Wellesley, MA 02482).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations can be made in her memory to the PMC or Agassiz Village, honoring her lifelong commitment to helping others.
