It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Sexeny of Wellesley, Massachusetts, born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 9, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Sexeny and Olga Sexeny (Grace); his wife Joanne Hofmann Sexeny of Winchester, MA; his children, Stephen Sexeny of Wellesley, MA, Lauren Sexeny of Ashland, MA and Denise D'Entremont (Gary) of Norfolk, MA.; his grandchildren, Brielyn Sexeny Rae (Nathan), Nicholas Sexeny, Danny and Bobby D'Entremont; and his great grandchildren, Dillon, Gordon, Piper and Levi Rae.
He is survived by: his siblings, Helen Tasho (Sam) of Mansfield, MA and George Sexeny (Maryellen) of Port St. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home (477 Washington St, Wellesley, MA 02482). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
