She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Salem; her brothers, David Garelick and Jules Garel (Judy); her brothers-in-law, Henry Salem and Robert; and her parents, Pauline Garelick and Max Garelick.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Salem (Liz) of Paia, HI, David Salem (Amory) of Cambridge, MA and Karen Sabatino (John) of Concord, MA.; her grandchildren, Jamie Salem (Anna), Leigh Salem (Lauren), Emma Salem, Caroline Shannon (Morgan), Virginia Sargent (Peter), Peter Shannon, Thea, Torin Salem, Kiley DeMarco (Nick) and Derek Sabatino (Mary Lauren); her great grandchildren, Sam, Jones, Penny, Max, Finley, Rowan, Dakota, Sophie and Charlie; her sister Barbara Feinberg (Paul); and her sisters-in-law, Judith Garelick, Sandi Salem and Dorothy Salamoff.
