With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James R. Tyrrell Sr. of Wellesley, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 8, 2024. He was predeceased by: his sisters, Ann Tyrrell Abely and Patricia Tyrrell; and his parents, Joseph Tyrrell and Mary Tyrrell. He is survived by: his wife Laura Duffey Tyrrell; his children, James Richard Tyrrell, Jr. (Ambrey Rice) of Boston, Alexandra Tyrrell Shaw (Ian) of Watertown and Kerry Anne Tyrrell (Keshav Ahuja) of Boston; and his siblings, Joseph P. Tyrrell (Kate) of Sudbury and Mary T. Coughlin (Chris) of Wellesley.
