He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Richter and Jean Richter (Canty). He is survived by: his wife Denise Richter (Picariello); his daughter Felicia Marie Richter of Wellesley, MA.; his siblings, Wayne Richter of Southbridge, MA, Mark Richter (Janelle) of Brookfield, MA, Paul Richter Jr. (Cheryl) of Three Rivers, MA, Jean Howard (Dennis Spaulding) and Ruth Richter of Warren, MA; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Picariello (Shawne) of Ashburnham, MA, Carol Picariello of Holden, MA and Elaine Picariello of Rehoboth Beach, DE. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henry J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home (56 Washington St, Wellesley, MA 02481). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Parish (9 Glen Rd, Wellesley, MA 02481). A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at the St. Mary's Cemetery (57 Wellesley Ave, Needham, MA 02494).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gary's memory may be made to the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital, James David Hospice Unit, 200 Springs Rd, Bedford, MA 01730.
