We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Barbara P. (Smith) Hernberg of Wellesley, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Barbara Smith and Arthur Smith; and her husband Frank Hernberg. She is survived by: her sister Lee Connors; her sons, Michael (Kathy) of Wheaton, IL. and Phil (Maureen) of Needham; her grandchildren, Peter, Katherine, Danny, Mark, Andrew, Emily, Elizabeth and John; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Johnny, Jacob, Daniel and Darcy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home (477 Washington St, Wellesley, MA 02482). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Church (502 Washington St, Wellesley, MA 02482).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's name may be made to Hospice of the Good Shepherd Community Care, 160 Wells Ave. Newton, MA 02459.
