She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Elizabeth Bacon (Sheehan) and Francis W. Bacon Jr.; and her siblings, Mary Scharch and Robert Bacon. She is survived by: her significant other Paul Edward Murphy; her children, Thomas (Mary) of Arizona, Laura Heffernan of Wellesley and Janet (William Vargas) of Wellesley; and her grandchildren, Greg Heffernan, Lauren Tedeschi of Wellesley, Erica Heffernan, Alex Johnson of New York, Sara Vargas, Patrick Rahill of Sudbury, Ally Vargas, Avery Murphy, Lindsay Heffernan and Johnny Murphy.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Parish (9 Glen Rd, Wellesley, MA 02481).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to The Discovery Museum, in Acton, MA.
