Alfred Verner Persson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alfred Verner Persson of Wellesley, Massachusetts, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on April 8, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Robert Persson and Marian Persson (Wilner); and his brother George Persson. He is survived by: his wife May; his daughters, Tuula Rodgers (Tom) of Arlington, TX, Christine Froehlich (James) of Ann Arbor, MI, Marian Flinchbaugh (Troy) of Benbrook, TX and Ruth Persson of Wellesley, MA; his grandsons, William "Whit" (Katherine Szocik), Ben and Max Froehlich; his daughters, Anna (Cha Tori) and Erin Flichbaugh; his sister Sally Chillington of Norristown, PA; and his friend Michael Cummings. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews, and many other relatives.
