He was predeceased by: his spouse Theresa Achmakjian (Ivanovic); his child Robert "Bobby" Achmakjian; his parent James Achmakjian; and his sibling Joseph Achmakjian. He is survived by: his children, Maria and Gloria; his parent Sarah Achmakjian; his sibling Jennie Koumjian; his nieces and nephews, Laura Bresnee, Michael Koumjian and Robert Koumjian; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alexander Bresnee and Benjamin Bresnee. He is also survived by cousins and life-long friends.
