He was predeceased by: his wife Anne Parmele (Madden); his parents, Henry Gilbert W. and Helen Bogert Parmele; and his brothers, Russell and Roome Parmele.
He is survived by: his sons, John Parmele (Jack) and David Parmele; his daughter-in-law Tricia; and his grandchildren, Amanda, Bill Parmele and Grace Parmele. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
