She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Johnstone and Mary Johnstone (Gillen); her husband James J. Lanigan; and her niece Norine Schmidt. She is survived by: her children, John (Susan) of Melrose, Brendan (Janice) of Brockton and Angela of Newton; her nephews, George and James Schmidt; and her niece Ellen Daly.
