Sophie (Stamatelos) Apostol Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sophie (Stamatelos) Apostol (Webster, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 19, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Sophie's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Sophie's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Apostol; her siblings, Bessie Promadas, Tessie Pappas and Louis Stamatelos; and her parents, Frank Stamatelos and Helen Stamatelos (Poulakis).
She is survived by: her son Alexander Apostol; and her grandchildren, Taylor Apostol (David Amado) of Londonderry, NH and Justin Apostol of Londonderry, NH. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church (37 Lake Pkwy, Webster, MA 01570). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
