He is survived by: his wife Sheila M. Colby (Burbo); his children, Sidney Colby, Jr. (Sherry) of Spencer, Michael Colby of Worcester, James Scott of Webster, Eddie Colby of Oxford, Mary Colby (Brian McMahon) and Shawn Colby (Kimberly) of Springfield; and his siblings, Ira Colby, Jr. of Worcester, John Colby of Worcester, Bobby Colby of Westborough, Charlene Langlois of Leicester and Maryjane Colby of Georgia. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
