She was predeceased by: her husband Alphie J. Benoit; her former husband William H. Butler; her siblings, Linda R. Leake, John M. Leake and Frank E. Leake; and her parents, Francis C. Leake and Ruth O. Leake (Guditz).
She is survived by: her children, John Butler (Sue) of Eagle River, AK and Deborah Stearns (Alan) of Oxford; her stepsons, Raymond Benoit (Steven Randolph) of Brothell, WA, Roger Benoit of Las Vegas, NV and Kenneth Benoit of Las Vegas, NV; her grandchildren, Ryan Butler (Jasmine), Kevin Stearns (Amanda), Christopher Butler (Jessie), Kaitlyn Phelan (Dan) and Joshua Butler; and her great grandchildren, Alaia, Kaitlyn, Colton, Keegan and Emma. She is also survived by cousins, sister-laws, nieces, nephews, and best friends.
Due to COVID restrictions, a private graveside service at North Cemetery in Oxford will be held at a later date.
