He was predeceased by: his son Craig Sargent; and his siblings, Ronald, Darrel, Merrill Sargent, Elaine, Norma and Nerma.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Sargent (Wetherbee); his children, Roger Sargent Jr. (Jamie Peterson) of Dudley, Marshall Sargent (Renee Andrews) of Webster, Kender of Palmer, Kathy Gabis (Tom) of Dudley, Cheri Hodges (Keith) of Dudley and Ruth Sargent (Rick Leonard) of Southbridge; his sisters, Dixie Dumont and Cynthia Tryba of Webster; and also Jean Silvestri. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
