He was predeceased by: his wife Inge E. (Stier); and his parents, Robert Lilla and Julia Lilla (Gawle). He is survived by: his children, Clifford of Webster, Susan Montville (Robert) of Dudley, Michael (Frances) of Whitinsville and Jeffrey of Rhode Island; his grandchildren, Jamie Lilla, Renee Carlson, Brian, Steven Montville, Erik and Kristen Lilla; and his daughter-in-law Ann Birtwell Lilla.
