He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas F. Cotter and Therese J. Gannon; and his sisters, Dorothy Collette of Worcester, Ruth J. Connors of Worcester and Rosemary Naughton of Worcester. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and had over 20 great nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the church.
