He was predeceased by: his sister Shirley Dirsa; and his parents, John F. Kender and Blanche Kender (Laprade). He is survived by: his wife Jeanne M. Kender (Girouard); his children, Roger P. Kender of Palmer, Deborah M. Ricciuti (Michael) of Shiloh, NC, Kathleen L. Gabis (Thomas) of Dudley, Elizabeth M. Kender and Jeanne; his siblings, John F. Kender, Jr. of Cape Cod and Linda Soars of Boston; and his children, Craig E. Sargent, Bonnie L. McGee and Christine M. Rice. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
