She was predeceased by: her husband Peter A. Cain; her daughter Sandra VanValkenburg of Wayland, MA; and her brothers, Donald LaFrance and John LaFrance of Florida. She is survived by: her sister Dorothy Young of Sarasota, FL; and her children, Patricia (Dana Anderson) of Dudley, MA and Michael (Emily Cain) of Bradford, MA. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
