It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Lee Backman (Wayland, Massachusetts), born in Waltham, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 18, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Robin L. Backman of Boston, Lisa B. Backman (Jeff Christoffersen) of Denver, CO, Jeffrey A. Backman (Diane Backman) of Charlotte, NC, Craig A. Backman (Marcia Backman) of Maynard and Robert C. Backman (Ruth Backman) of Wayland; and her grandchildren, Robert, Katie, Chris, Michael, Mary, Cassandra and Kyle.
In lieu of flowers, her family kindly suggests that gifts in Gloria's memory be made to the Wayland Historical Society, PO Box 56, Wayland, MA 01778; or to Drumlin Farm, 208 South Great Road, Lincoln, MA 01773.
