He was predeceased by: his brother Thomas Halfpenny; and his parents, Rowland Halfpenny and Marian Halfpenny (Moore). He is survived by: his wife Virginia A. Halfpenny (Peirce); his sons, John Halfpenny (Kathleen) of Marlborough, James Halfpenny of Lancaster and Gregory Halfpenny (Virginia) of Sterling; his sister-in-law Constance Halfpenny; his nieces and nephews, Sue, Jan and Steve of Minnesota; his grandchildren, Jennifer Brammer (Charles), Steven Metcalf, Carolyn Halfpenny (Daniel French) and Meaghan Halfpenny (Ian Entrot); and his great grandchildren, Emmalyn and Owen Brammer.
