It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ellen Marie McGaffigan of Wayland, Massachusetts, born in Watertown, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 11, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Reardon and Bridget Reardon (McHugh); and her siblings, Edward P., John, James M. Reardon and Theresa (Crouse).

She is survived by: her husband James H. McGaffigan, Jr. (Jim); her caregiver Jim; her daughters, Marianne McGaffigan of Waltham and Jill M. McGaffigan-Votruba (Steven) of Winchester; and her sister Mary McFarlin (Francis). She is also survived by twenty nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
