She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pratnicki and Catherine Pratnicki (O'Konska); and her husband John "Mac" McCarthy. She is survived by: her children, Michael McCarthy of Austin, TX, Claire C. McCarthy of Millis, MA, Katherine McCarthy of Staten Island, NY and David J. McCarthy of Mechanicsburg, PA; and her grandsons, Sean, Brendan and Craig McCarthy.
