She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wallace Slater and Madeline Lowery Doherty; her children, Cheryl Van Allen, Leah Wentzell, Shawn Patrick and Julie Patro; her grandchildren, Lisa Wentzell, Alex, Steven Patro, Trevor Van Allen and Brian Patrick; and her great grandchild Logan Lambert.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ginny's memory to the church she loved so much.
