He was predeceased by: his parent Earl H. Hammond; and his sibling Judith Hammond Davis. He is survived by: his parent Madaline E. Hammond (Truitt); his spouse Takako Hammond (Uneoka) of Watertown; his child Keiji Hammond of New York City; and his siblings, Barbara Hammond and Cynthia Hammond Beale.
