He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Greenough and Mary Greenough; his wife Gloria Anne Kelley; his children, Richard, Jr., Mark, Jody, Philip and Paul; and also, Susan, Margaret, Patrick Menton, Jamie Parker and Janet. He was also cherished by eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Contributions in his memory can be made to the Watertown Boys & Girls Club.
