He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Shelley MacDonald (Manion); his parents, Paul MacDonald and Gloria MacDonald (Iacobucci); his stepparent Rosanne MacDonald; his parents-in-law, Michael Manion and Ginger Manion; his children, Jennifer Foden (George), Melissa Rawson (Joseph), Patricia Pupecki (Chris), Paul MacDonald III (Janice), Dana MacDonald and Michael MacDonald; his siblings, Christine Solano (Robert), Douglas MacDonald (Justine) and Scott MacDonald Sr (Patricia); his sibling-in-law Candy Costas (Peter); and his grandchildren, Ricky IV, Kendra IV, Gregory IV, Ryan IV, Tyler IV, Alexis IV, Cameron IV, Isabella IV, Emelia IV, Max IV, Julia IV, Rebecca IV, Sophia IV and Paul IV.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Paul's favorite charity.
