With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen M Kelley of Watertown, Massachusetts, born in Brighton, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 2, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lyons and Margaret Lyons (O'Brien); and her siblings, Mary Warren (Lyons) and Joseph Lyons. She is survived by: her children, Peggy Kelley of Watertown, Laura Kelley of Cambridge, Caroline Jacques (late Paul Jacques) of Medford, Joseph M. Kelley Jr. (Ellen) of Paxton, Susan Lavigne (Steve) of Sudbury, Katie Geraghty (Patrick) of West Roxbury, Sarah Woods (Jeff) of Needham and Chris Kelley (Heather) of Winchester; her sister Peggy Cummings (Lyons) of Needham; her brother-in-law Jerry Kelley of Sandwich; her cousin Jackie O'Brien of Wells; and her grandchildren, Hannah Jacques (Derek Earp), Liam Jacques (Kathy Henriquez), Niamh Jacques, Bridget Dimauro (Joe), Mairead Kelley, Molly Kelley, Luke Geraghty, Aidan Geraghty, Michael Geraghty, Liza Kelley, Thomas Kelley, Amy Kelley, Katie Mae Lavigne, Anthony Lavigne, Gabriel Woods and Ciara Woods.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home (36 Trapelo Rd, Belmont, MA 02478). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St Columbkille Church (321 Market St, Brighton, MA 02135). A burial was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at the St Joseph Cemetery (990 Lagrange St, Boston, MA 02132).
