He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria of Watertown, Mass.; and his siblings, Anthony Contrada of Framingham and Philomena "Phyllis" Pytlak (Contrada) of Medford. He is survived by: his brother Julio Contrada of Newton, Mass; and his son Joseph A. Contrada of Waltham, Mass. He is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews.
