Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Joseph Brendan Spillane of Watertown, Massachusetts, born in Lowell, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 91, on January 13, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Spillane and Theresa Spillane (Curtain); and his brother Paul Spillane. He is survived by: his wife Michaela K. Spillane (Sheehan); his daughters, Mary T. Spillane of Watertown, Melissa A. Gnyp (David) of Charlotte, NC and Stephanie M. Spillane of Watertown; his granddaughters, Annabelle Spillane and Madeleine Gnyp; his sister Eleanor Roop; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Casey (Sheehan) of Nashua, NH.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
The family would like to welcome friends and relatives at the Visiting Hours and Funeral Mass. However, we understand that some people may have concerns in regards to Covid-19 and not feel comfortable attending.
